Willamette Valley Vineyards – Solar Electric and Water Heating
Project Description
Advanced Energy Systems completed a 26.5 kW solar electric system for Willamette Valley Vineyards in 2013. The array consists of 100 black SolarWorld 265 watt modules, and 100 Enphase M215 micro-inverters. This array also features glass triangle infill to smooth the diagonal sides of the array. This solar electric system will produce approximately 28,967 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 985,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 14,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
The Solar Water Heating system is comprised of (12) Heliodyne Gobi 410 collectors and a 660 gallon solar pre-heat tank. This solar water heating system will produce approximately 24,500 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 833,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 11,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
