Willakenzie Crossing Housing Solar Hot Water Project

Project Description

Advanced Energy Systems completed an 8 collector solar water heating system for the Willakenzie Crossing housing project in 2011. The array consists of 8 Shuco Advance solar thermal collectors, and a 115 gallon hot water storage tank. This solar water heating system will produce approximately 8,942 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 304,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 4,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
