Project Description

Advanced Energy Systems completed a 18 collector solar water heating system for the Roosevelt Crossing housing facility in 2010. The array consists of 18 SunEarth EC 40 solar thermal collectors, and a custom hot water storage tank. This solar water heating system will produce approximately 32,454 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 1,103,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 15,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
