COHO Townhouses of Eugene Solar Project

Project Description

In 2007 Advanced Energy Systems completed a 12.5 kW solar electric array for the Coho Townhouses in Eugene, OR. The array is made up of (60) Sharp 208 watt modules, and and (2) SMA 6000 inverters. The PV system will produce approximately 14,000 kWh per year.

From the coho Townhouses website:

Coho Townhouses opened in 2008 as a collection of nine townhouses, each with four spacious bedrooms and two full baths. Across the street from West University Park and two blocks from the University of Oregon campus, Coho Townhouses have a very desirable location. The units are thoughtfully designed with the living room and kitchen/dining area on the first floor. The second and third floor each have two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Each unit has access to a large bicycle storage locker adjacent to the courtyard. Built to high environmental and architectural standards, Coho was selected by the Eugene Water and Electric Board as one of four properties in Eugene included on last year’s tour of sustainable building projects.
