Project Description
In December of 2007 Rainbow Valley Design and Construction installed a 56.78 KW Solar Electric System on the roof of their building on 785 Grant Street, Eugene. The Solar Electric System features 340 Sharp 167 Watt modules flush mounted to the roof, outputing a total of 57,000 kWh per year. Output of the PV array is monitored by Fat Spaniel Technology and includes building demand monitoring with a weather station. The system is a generation system that feeds back to the EWEB utility grid. The Rainbow Valley system saves an equivalent of 1,500 tons of CO2 , 4,500 trees planted, or 154,600 gallons of gasoline.
