PDX DeIcing Center PV Project at Portland International Airport

Project Description

Advanced Energy Systems completed a 34.76 kW solar electric system for the Port of Portland in 2011. The array consists of 120 SolarWorld 235, 32 Evergreen ES-A 205 watt modules, and 6 SMA inverters. This solar electric system will produce approximately 37,680 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 1,281,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 18,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
