Oregon State University Solar Thermal
Advanced Energy Systems completed a 67 collector solar water heating system for Oregon State University INTO building in 2011. The array consists of 67 Heliodyne Gobi 406 solar thermal collectors, and a custom hot water storage tank. This solar water heating system will produce approximately 112,627 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 3,829,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 53,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
