Advanced Energy Systems completed a 10 collector solar water heating system for the Cora Park Apartments in 2009. The array consists of 10 Schuco Slim V solar thermal collectors, and 5 120 gallon back-up hot water storage tanks. This solar water heating system will produce approximately 18,000 kWh in the first year of operation, and more than 612,000 kWh over the course of its lifetime, offsetting 8,000 tons of CO2 emissions.
