ElderHealth & Living
In December 2008 ElderHealth & Living in partnership with Advanced Energy Systems activated a 9.2 KW Solar Electric System. The system utilizes (44) high efficiency SunTech 210 watt modules. The power from the modules is routed through (2) PV Powered 2500 watt and (1) Fronius 4000 watt Inverters before connecting to the grid. The net metering agreement with SUB (Springfield Utility Board) credits ElderHealth & Living when production is in excess of usage. The PV System has substantial environmental impacts. Over its lifetime the system will save/offset an equivalent amount of energy as 260 tons of CO2, 27,600 gallons of gasoline, or 800 trees.
