David Parker
President
David Parker is the President of Advanced Energy Systems (AES). David has a Masters Degree in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in renewable energy technologies, over twenty years experience in the design and installation of solar energy products and is an expert on the tax benefits and utility incentives available today. He is knowledgeable in all the low and zero interest
finance programs applicable to renewable energy systems. David is a licensed Oregon general contractor and an approved solar contractor with the Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) and the Energy Trust of Oregon (ETO). He also a licensed renewable energy technician (LRT #008), a licensed solar plumber (SOL#13) and a renewable energy contractor (CLRE #20-512).
He is the past President of the Oregon Solar Industries Association (OSEIA), currently serves on the Board and as Vice-President (Willamette Valley). David has been a major participant in the development of solar licensing and net metering legislation in Oregon. Working with utilities, he has helped develop and implement solar and energy conservation programs for their customers. David has extensive experience with solar water heating systems for residential and commercial
users, residential and commercial solar pool heating systems, geothermal heat pumps, grid-tied photovoltaic systems for homes and businesses, solar for public schools, and has developed solar curriculums for college level courses.
Since 1980, he has been responsible for the installation of more than 2000 solar water heating systems, generating over 4 megawatts, and 100+ solar electric systems, generating over 3 megawatts. The combined energy savings to date of these systems is calculated to be over 200 gigawatt hours of electricity.
Eric Nill
VICE PRESIDENT

Eric joined Advanced Energy Systems as a finance specialist. His directive is to channel investment capital toward profitable solar projects in the Northwest.
For more than a decade, Eric served as CIO and corporate secretary for the Guaranty group of auto and RV dealerships in Oregon, California and Arizona. At Guaranty, Eric oversaw two solar developments by Advanced Energy Systems, where he put into effect the business case for investing in renewable energy. Prior to joining his family in business at Guaranty, Eric founded, and managed, a company to build energy-efficient and affordable housing using factory processes developed in Sweden. Eric completed the Oregon Executive MBA Program. He also holds an M. A. in International Studies (focused in resource economics) from the University of Oregon. Eric is a graduate of Pomona College with a B. A. in International Relations.
